Course Title

Analyzing Evidence 2

Department(s)

Description

This course focuses on the research process. The goal is to break down the steps to a sociological research project in detail. With each step, we will read exemplars from the discipline and discuss how they articulate and achieve that aspect of the research process. Students will be working throughout the semester on their own research proposal that includes the research design and preliminary literature review. For those proposing to conduct original research for their thesis, they would start the IRB process at this time as well.
