This is the second semester of a two-semester general chemistry course-sequence. An in-depth introduction to the fundamental laws and techniques of chemistry for majors in science and engineering. Topics include: chemical kinetics; chemical equilibrium; acids and bases; free energy, entropy and the second law of thermodynamics; electrochemistry; advanced bonding concepts; metals and coordination chemistry; and nuclear chemistry.
