Preventative Psychology Mental Disorders

This course will examine current research on prevention of mental health disorders, alcoholism, and substance abuse. This includes strategies to promote health, reduce risk, and support resilience. We will examine the historic and societal factors affecting treatment, and we will identify directions for future research in this field.
